| Smith Chart | ||
The Smith Chart was invented by Phillip H. Smith. It is a graphical aid that gives Microwave and RF Engineers an extremely useful way of visualizing the transmission line phenomenon and for solving Matching Network problems. Essentially the Smith Chart is a polar plot of the voltage reflection coefficient, Gamma. It is the RF Engineers most useful tool.
